Zusammenfassung

The Project Engineer reports to up-line senior engineering personnel and performs a wide variety of water utility related engineering work for the Providence Water Supply Board (PWSB); performs other related duties as assigned.

The role involves complex analyses, design coordination, and capital improvement project oversight across source, treatment, and distribution systems, along with collaboration with senior staff and contractors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in water works.
• PE license or EIT preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and GIS for technical designs.
• Knowledge of lead service line replacement programs, unidirectional flushing, and hydraulic modeling.

Aufgaben

• Perform complex engineering work for water utility systems including source, treatment, transmission, and distribution.
• Conduct analyses and assessments to identify improvements to the system.
• Assist in planning, design, and procurement for capital projects.
• Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects and inspections.
• Support Water Quality initiatives and guidance to coordinators and supervisors.
• Prepare reports and maintain engineering records and drawings.
