• Class 3 Water Distribution System Operator License within 18 months.
• Florida Driver’s License with endorsements to drive County vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized maintenance work in an assigned section of the Public Utilities Department.
• Maintains meters and water utilities; handles valves and backflow devices.
• Responds to after-hours calls and coordinates resources.
• Operates machinery and tools used in department projects.
• Maintains safety and keeps records and forms up to date.
• Monitors inventory and ensures supplies are available.
• Prepares forms, reports, and time cards.
• Keeps knowledge of laws and attends trainings.
