Job summary

Steel Dynamics operates water trucks to support dust control and dust abatement across all areas as needed. The role requires following safety requirements and established procedures to ensure quality products for customers.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong safety awareness, good verbal and written communication, and the ability to work independently or with supervision. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and overtime may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• Strong safety awareness is essential.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, electronic).
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Quality and detail oriented; mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements.
• Follow work procedures to ensure high quality products for our customers.
• Learn safe operations of the water truck.
• Assist in other areas with the direction of your supervisor during rainy weather when the water truck is not needed.
