Job summary

Aviator Paving is seeking a Water Truck Driver to support dusty sites by delivering water, wetting stone base, and ensuring proper compaction. The role requires safe truck operation, inspections, and coordination with site crews.

You will operate on public roads and active job sites, transfer water as directed, and maintain logs in accordance with DOT and company policy. Overtime and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a water truck on construction sites.
• Familiarity with pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Knowledge of DOT hours of service and driver log requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply water to control dust on grading and haul roads.
• Wet stone base to achieve specified compaction and density.
• Deliver water to crews across the site and remote areas.
• Operate the water truck safely on public roads and job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintain driver logs and records per DOT regulations.
