Job summary

Texas Materials, A CRH company, is seeking a Water Truck / Tandem Truck Driver & Equipment Operator to safely operate water trucks, tandem dump trucks, and related heavy equipment in ongoing paving and site development projects.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork as you support crews, perform inspections, and maintain equipment in a busy construction environment in Texas. Valid CDL and prior heavy equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required or present within application.
• At least 1 year operating water trucks, dump trucks, or similar heavy vehicles.
• Experience in roadway construction, asphalt paving, or site development is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate water trucks to support dust control and moisture management.
• Safely operate tandem dump trucks to haul aggregates and materials.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip and daily equipment inspections.
• Assist with loading/unloading and grading activities as directed.
• Follow safety policies, DOT regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
• Maintain clean and professional work area and equipment.
• Complete daily equipment reports and basic servicing.
