Water Truck Driver - Kilgore Construction - Salt Lake County 1 (Finance)

Overview

We currently have an opening for a Water Truck Driver. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of Water Trucks. Drivers are responsible for dust control, grade work, and soil conditioning for compaction on road work crews and utility crews. This role offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level operators to gain experience in construction site layout.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Partner with crew members to supply water on jobsites for refilling equipment as instructed by the foreperson.
2. Use sprinkling attachments to spray water on roadways to control dust.
3. Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe work practices.
4. Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any repairs needed.
5. Inspect equipment and safety items at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

1. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
2. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
3. Previous construction industry experience is helpful but not required.
