Job summary

The H K Group is seeking a Water Truck Driver/Groundsperson at Naceville Quarry to operate a water truck for dust suppression and support plant maintenance. CDL is not required, and the role emphasizes safety, timely maintenance, and efficient transportation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Comfortable with physical tasks, math skills, and PPE usage, you will join a long-standing heavy civil contractor with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Mathematical skills.
• Ability to fit test & utilize PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follows company safety policies and MSHA policies.
• Perform pre and post trip of truck every day and fill out daily inspection sheets.
• Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate water truck.
• Drives safely and efficiently to transport material and achieve production goals.
• Does regular inspection of roadways to determine dust suppression needs.
• Performs routine maintenance on truck such as lubricating and cleaning.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
