Job summary

King Asphalt, Inc. seeks a skilled water truck operator in Rock Hill, SC to transport water to job sites and support paving crews. CDL-A with Tanker endorsements and a minimum of two years driving experience are required. Do you prioritize safety and efficient operations?

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and follow all safety regulations while supporting the crew on daily tasks, including washing, dust control, and occasional maintenance of trucks.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with Tanker endorsements is required.
• Minimum two years of driving experience with CDL-A.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections (oil, water, fuel, tires, lights).
• Report problems or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Receive job assignments from supervisor or dispatcher.
• Assist with washing streets, proof rolling subgrade, washing pipe, wetting stone to set up for paving or dust control.
• Load and transport water safely and efficiently to destination.
• Comply with all safety regulations (company, DOT, Federal, State, local).
• Complete daily DOT logbook and submit to supervisor/dispatcher.
• Complete and submit required forms and reports.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs to the truck (painting, washing, cleaning).
• Assist crew when truck is not in use.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
