Job summary

Hunter Contracting Co. is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to operate a tank truck, transport water, and apply it to job sites in Arizona.

The role requires safe driving, accurate water placement, and adherence to DOT rules while supporting ongoing civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement, have 5+ years of equipment operation experience, and possess a valid DOT health card.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions.
• Five (5) + years of experience operating power construction equipment.
• Current Medical DOT Health Card.
• Clean MVR record and Dust Control Card.

Responsibilities

• Loads and navigates water truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs DOT Daily Inspection to include inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
• Takes pride in craftsmanship, works within precise standards of accuracy.
• Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
• Practices good safety habits.

Hunter Contracting, specializing in civil infrastructure, is seeking is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to operate a tank truck to transport, pump and apply water to and from areas on the jobsite.

Responsible for:

• Loads and navigates water truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs DOT Daily Inspection to include inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.

Qualifications

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions; AND,
• Five (5) + years of experience in operation of power construction equipment; OR,
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must have a current Medical DOT Health Card
• Clean MVR record and Dust Control Card
