Job summary

Hunter Contracting Co. is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver in Arizona to operate a tank truck, transport, pump, and apply water across job sites.

Responsibilities include loading, navigating, logging hours, performing DOT inspections, and staying in contact with supervision to meet project goals with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Must load and navigate water truck and apply water to specified destinations on jobsite.
• Maintain truck logs per federal/state regulations.
• Perform DOT Daily Inspection of tires, lights, brakes, and fluids.
• Maintain communications with supervisor for instructions.
• Demonstrate precision in craftsmanship and meet deadlines.

Hunter Contracting, specializing in civil infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to operate a tank truck to transport, pump and apply water to and from areas on the jobsite.

Responsible for:

• Loads and navigates water truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs DOT Daily Inspection to include inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
• Takes pride in craftsmanship, works within precise standards of accuracy.
• Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
• Practices good safety habits.

Qualifications

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions; AND,
• Three (3) + years of experience in operation of power construction equipment; OR,
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must have a current Medical DOT Health Card
• Clean MVR record and Dust Control Card
