Water Truck Driver
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-consciousWater Truck Driverto support our construction operations. The primary responsibility is to operate a water truck to control dust and provide water for compaction and other construction-related needs. This role is essential to maintaining safe and efficient job sites.
Required: All candidates are required to pass a thorough Background Check, Physical and Drug Test. References will also be checked.
Work Schedule: Seasonal (April- November), Full Time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a water truck safely and efficiently on construction sites and public roads.
- Spray water to control dust on roads, construction areas, and other designated locations.
- Fill, transport, and distribute water as needed for soil compaction and other site requirements.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Monitor water levels and refill as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and water usage.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Skills & Experience:
- CDL Class A with tanker endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years CDL Driving Experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Can follow directions without constant oversight.
- Able to drive a Manual Transmission.
- Knowledge of the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.

- Do Pre and Post Trip Walk-around:
- Pre trip truck walk-around at the beginning of your shift.
- Post trip truck walk-around at the end of your shift.
- Do Toolbox Talks. Read and retain weekly Safety Toolbox talks sent out by Safety Manager.
- Be reliable. You are expected to be ready to work (in truck, ready to go) at your designated start time.
- Be adaptable. Be able and willing to embrace change and learn.
- Be good at customer service. Deliver helpful and friendly customer service. (Customers include both co-workers and people outside the organization.)
- Be flexible. Be willing to work around changing requirements or needs. Offer assistance where needed.
- Be Personally Resilient. Handle stress and ambiguity without losing your composure or motivation.
- Be Professional. Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor and appearance. Follow best practices and be aware of appropriate behavior.
