Job summary

Hunter Contracting Co. in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to operate a tank truck, load, transport, pump and apply water on the jobsite. You will comply with DOT regulations, keep accurate logs, and perform daily truck inspections.

We value safety, reliability and teamwork. Eligible applicants hold a Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement, have 3+ years of related experience, a valid Medical DOT card and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions.
• 3+ years of experience in operation of power construction equipment; or equivalent.
• Must have a current Medical DOT Health Card.
• Clean MVR and Dust Control Card.

Responsibilities

• Loads and navigates water truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs DOT Daily Inspection (tires, lights, brakes, fuses, fluids).
• Maintains contact with supervisor by phone or radio for instructions.
• Prioritizes work to meet goals and adheres to safety standards.

Hunter Contracting, specializing in civil infrastructure, is seeking is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to operate a tank truck to transport, pump and apply water to and from areas on the jobsite.

Responsible for:

• Loads and navigates water truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs DOT Daily Inspection to include inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
• Takes pride in craftsmanship, works within precise standards of accuracy.
• Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
• Practices good safety habits.

Qualifications

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions; AND,
• Three (3) + years of experience in operation of power construction equipment; OR,
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must have a current Medical DOT Health Card
• Clean MVR record and Dust Control Card
