Job summary

Role Description The Water Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site role located in Columbus, GA. This role is responsible for operating a water truck on construction sites to control dust, support compaction activities, and maintain safe working conditions. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting the truck, monitoring fluid levels, operating spray equipment, and following designated routes on job sites. The driver will coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to meet project needs, follow all safety and environmental guidelines, and complete basic paperwork such as logs and inspection reports. The role may also involve assisting with minor on-site tasks related to truck operation and general site support.

Qualifications

• Commercial driving skills, including CDL Class A and proven Truck Driving experience.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT Regulations) and safe operation of a Truck on and off construction sites.
• Ability to perform basic loading and Unloading tasks related to water truck operation and site support.
• Strong focus on safety, including adherence to company safety policies and use of proper PPE.
• Reliable attendance, ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and willingness to follow instructions and site procedures.
• Experience on construction sites or in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a clean driving record are beneficial.
