Job summary

Reynolds Asphalt & Construction Company in Texas is seeking an FB Truck Driver responsible for safely operating a water truck to transport materials to job sites, asphalt plants, and facilities. You will follow DOT regulations and company safety policies while performing inspections and maintaining equipment.

This role requires a high school diploma, CDL Class A, 1+ year experience, strong teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to work OT and night/weekend shifts as needed, with a focus

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, asphalt plants, company facilities, and other designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with Foreman, Superintendent, and Supervisor to determine watering priorities and project needs.
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily inspections of the water truck, including pumps, valves, hoses, spray systems, tires, lights, brakes, and other critical components.
  • Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or equipment damage immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Clean the truck regularly, including removing slurry, mud, and debris, to maintain a professional appearance and comply with DOT and company standards.
  • Assist with slurry truck washout operations and other trucking support activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Comply with all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and OSHA requirements.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and practice safe work habits at all times.
  • Support the crew with additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Position Summary

The FB Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction job sites, asphalt plants, company facilities, and designated delivery locations. This position plays a critical role in supporting construction operations by ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of materials while maintaining compliance with company policies, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements. The FB Truck Driver is also responsible for conducting routine vehicle inspections, maintaining assigned equipment, and promoting a safe work environment.
