Culligan is offering a seven-week hands-on training program to become a Water Treatment Service Technician. You will learn to install water softeners and filtration systems in customers’ homes, combining classroom learning, shop time, and field training, with a clear path for advancement.

This role emphasizes hands-on work, problem solving, and sustainable career growth, with benefits and a compensation structure that includes hourly wages, commissions, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with your hands, problem solving and working with customers.
• Are naturally handy or mechanically inclined.
• Comfortable working physically and in tight spaces.
• Plumbing/mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
• Do not need a college degree.
• Can lift 80 lbs.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install new water treatment systems in customers' homes and businesses.
• Analyze and diagnose customer water quality issues.
• Repair water conditioning and related equipment.
• Educate customers on system use and care.
• Manage service documentation and reporting.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to ensure exceptional service.
• Safely operate a company vehicle.
• Use power tools, hand tools and pipe fittings to install and service systems.
• Apply plumbing knowledge to support daily work.
