Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Water Treatment Operator with supervisory experience to support Napa County water and wastewater systems. The role involves site visits to multiple facilities, routine maintenance, meter reading, and equipment repairs.

Ideal candidates hold California Water Treatment and Distribution Grade II certifications and a valid CA driver’s license. The position offers a 6-month contract-to-hire path with benefits and potential for long-term placement.

Qualifications

• California Water Treatment Certification Grade II or higher (required).
• California Water Distribution Certification Grade II or higher (required).
• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License (Class C).
• Basic knowledge of equipment and vehicle maintenance; computer skills and GPS.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain logs of daily activities.
• Perform field duties related to installing, repairing, and maintaining water/wastewater systems.
• Provide janitorial services as directed.
• Provide landscaping maintenance as required.
• Assist in road maintenance and repair.
• Repair basic equipment such as pumps and valves.
• Read water meters.
• Perform routine weekend checks of facilities.
