Job summary

Refined Technologies is seeking a Water Treatment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support downstream operations, focusing on boilers, cooling systems, and wastewater treatment. You will develop and implement water treatment strategies, troubleshoot upsets, and collaborate across departments to optimize asset performance.

The role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership in project management, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance within industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering (or related field).
• 10–15 years of water treatment experience in refinery/industrial settings.
• Proven track record managing water treatment programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for water treatment inquiries and issues.
• Provide technical guidance to customer, sales, and operations teams.
• Develop and optimize water treatment strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead water treatment projects from concept through implementation.
• Ensure compliance with water treatment standards and regulations; conduct audits.
• Train refinery staff on water treatment operations and best practices.
