Job summary

Rizon is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team, supporting downstream operations with chemistry-based challenges in boilers, cooling systems, and wastewater treatment.

The ideal candidate holds a chemical/Environmental engineering background with 10–15 years of water treatment experience in refinery/industrial settings and a proven program leadership track record. Travel is less than 20% for training and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in water treatment within a refinery or industrial setting.
• Proven track record of managing water treatment control programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert for water treatment inquiries and issues.
• Provide technical guidance to customer, sales, and operations teams.
• Develop and optimize water treatment strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead water treatment projects from concept through implementation.
