Job summary

The City of Auburn, AL, is seeking a Water Treatment Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of water supply, pumping, and treatment facilities. You will repair equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support facility teams to maintain high water quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years' experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain Alabama Grade II or higher water treatment certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains water pumping and treatment facilities.
• Maintains buildings and grounds of pumping and treatment facilities.
• Calibrates, maintains and repairs facility instrumentation and SCADA equipment.
• Maintains inventory of parts and supplies for facilities and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
