Job summary

ARCO/Murray seeks a Water Treatment Project Manager to join our Water Solutions team in Dallas, TX. You will own project execution, safety, quality, and client satisfaction across water and wastewater initiatives—from planning through completion.

As a hands-on leader, you will coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, oversee budgets and schedules, and mentor multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing water and/or wastewater plant construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process systems, civil/structural works, and mechanical/electrical installations.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in designing and constructing water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, plus construction project management responsibilities.
• Design|Build construction experience is preferred.
• LEED experience is preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procure, Revit, Salesforce, and Microsoft Project is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of water/wastewater plant construction projects, from planning to closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and manage lifecycle risks.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams.
• Drive stakeholder communication, reporting, and client satisfaction.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams from proposals through final designs and construction services.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget and within scope.
• Manage external contractors and partners as part of project teams.
• Balance multiple complex, strategic projects simultaneously.
• Apply best practices in water resource management and distribution systems.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Travel up to 40% as needed.
