Job summary

ARCO/Murray, in collaboration with BlueWTR, is seeking a Process Engineer to support process design and technical delivery on water and wastewater projects across industries in the United States. You will contribute from basis-of-design through commissioning within a design-build setup backed by ARCO/Murray’s national platform.

The role requires 3+ years in water/wastewater engineering, experience with PFDs/P&IDs and mass balances, and strong communication skills to engage clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in water/wastewater process engineering or related role.
• Experience developing or supporting PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, mass balances, equipment sizing, and basis-of-design docs.
• Experience with membrane systems (UF/NF/RO), biological, chemical treatment, filtration, or solids handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with client, vendor, and internal discussions.
• Understanding of project cost, schedule, constructability, and how process design affects delivery.
• BS in Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support process design on industrial water and wastewater projects through commissioning.
• Develop basis-of-design content, mass balances, hydraulic calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and data sheets.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, vendors, and design-build partners; document decisions.
