Bracane Company is seeking a Process Engineer for Water Treatment & R&D based in West Texas with regular travel to Midland facilities. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 plus a 10% bonus, with flexible work-from-home options.

The role focuses on optimizing water-treatment processes, supporting R&D initiatives, and evaluating new technologies while coordinating pilot programs and field demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial process-engineering experience.
• Experience in water treatment, chemical processing, desalination, refrigeration or similar industrial environments.
• Strong chemistry/thermodynamics, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in plant and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization initiatives.
• Analyze plant and laboratory operating data.
• Develop process models, mass balances and performance calculations.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Evaluate water-treatment and emerging technologies.
• Support engineering/design for R&D initiatives.
• Coordinate pilot programs, field trials and proof-of-concept testing.
• Develop technical evaluations and business cases.
