Job summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior Process Engineer to design and optimize produced water treatment and recycling across multiple facilities in Texas.

You will develop design criteria, perform mass/energy balances, and evaluate treatment technologies to improve performance and reduce costs. Responsibilities include reviewing PFDs/P&IDs, supporting EPC contractors and licensors, and guiding projects from feasibility through startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in facility design and water treatment/recycling.
• Valid Driver’s License; proficient in Microsoft Office; proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro; experience in process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize produced water treatment processes to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Review designs, calculations, and deliverables from EPC contractors and licensors.
• Support projects through feasibility, pilot testing, detailed design, commissioning, and startup.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure design requirements are met.
• Participate in HAZOPs and process hazard analyses to support safe operations.
• Provide technical support during project execution and startup.
