City of Sidney, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance & Relief Operator for the Water Treatment Plant. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of WTP equipment, buildings, and treatment systems, plus remote facilities.

You will perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation to support safe, reliable plant operation. The position also serves as a relief Shift Operator on 12-hour shifts, handling plant operation, lab testing, SCADA monitoring, regulatory recordkeeping, and

Competenze

High school diploma or GED required.
Mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting knowledge; water treatment/industrial maintenance preferred.
Math and chemistry knowledge; surface-water treatment coursework preferred.
Ohio EPA Class I Water Supply Operator Certification within 18 months of hire.
Valid driver\'s license with good driving record; residency may be required by the City.

Mansioni

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of WTP equipment, buildings, treatment systems, and remote facilities.
Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance documentation for safe, reliable plant operation.
