Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Operator-in-Training (Water Treatment) based in Bear Creek, GA. You will join a collaborative team to operate treatment facilities, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with drinking water standards.

You will gain entry-level experience with responsibilities such as data entry, sample collection, shift logging, and monitoring meters, while supporting safety and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Basic data entry into a maintenance management system and proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• A first-level water/wastewater treatment certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate water treatment facilities and monitor flow, readings and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Collect samples and maintain shift logs.
• Enter data accurately into systems and support QA/QC testing.
