Qualifications

• North Carolina certification as a Wastewater Operator (Grade II or higher) and/or Water Operator (Grade B Surface Water).
• Two (2) or more years of experience operating as a licensed Grade II Wastewater Operator or Grade B Surface Water Operator.
• One (1) or more years of experience serving as an ORC or Lead Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains the water distribution system.
• Maintains pump stations and performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs sample collection, preparation, and laboratory testing.

Skills

North Carolina certification as a Wastewater Operator (Grade II or higher)

Ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail

Experience within a water treatment environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
