Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year of experience as Water Plant Operator Trainee.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and potential certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate motors, pumps, and valves to regulate raw water flow.
• Dissolve and adjust chemicals for disinfection and clarification.
• Test water samples and record residuals, turbidity, and pressure.
• Maintain logs and perform routine maintenance on plant equipment.
• Read and interpret data from meters and control panels.
