Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical equipment used in water treatment plants.
• Ability to follow operating and recording procedures and perform basic math.
• Six months experience in operation or maintenance of related equipment or completion of a Pre-Apprenticeship program in Water or Wastewater Operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment related to water treatment processes under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and assist in plant maintenance projects.
• Collect samples, record data, and monitor chemical usage and process performance to ensure regulatory compliance.
