Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an entry-level Water Plant Operator responsible for basic cleaning, painting, washing filters, and maintenance of water facilities. This role operates pumps, controls flow and pressure, and performs routine water treatment activities under supervision.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, some water treatment exposure, and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities include housekeeping, data recording, and safety compliance with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED or specialized vocational training in chemistry.
Water treatment operations experience and minimum certifications preferred.
Must have a valid state driver's license and meet minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

Operate water pumping mechanisms to regulate flow and pressure during shifts.
Monitor panel boards and adjust controls to regulate flow and distribution of water.
Backwash and clean systems at designated intervals.
Record reservoir water elevation, power consumption, and equipment utilization data.
Conduct water treatment activities including disinfection and sedimentation steps.
Maintain cleanliness of trucks, equipment, and facility areas.
