Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Desires Physical Chemical I certification; Desires Maintenance I certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains treatment plant equipment such as filters, pumps, chlorinators, and motors.
• Performs standard chemical and physical process tests and records readings.
• Monitors operations, collects water samples, runs lab tests, and reports results to regulatory agencies.
• Handles chlorine delivery and cylinder changes, and maintains logs and equipment records.
• Ensures safety standards and conducts periodic safety inspections.
