Job summary

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for mechanical operations and repairs across treatment facilities, wells, water towers, and CFPUA buildings. Responsibilities

Maintains pumps, motors, electrical systems and performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
Conducts safety inspections and maintains lubricant and fluid levels.
Performs maintenance at CFPUA buildings and administrative facilities.
Identifies and corrects hazards while complying with safety policies.
Repairs plumbing and troubleshoots equipment.
Repairs and replaces piping, valves, and other equipment at the plant.
Maintains vehicles and equipment; assists with supply inventory and operates related tools.
Performs annual inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Maintains the plant chemical system and responds to emergencies as essential personnel.
