Job summary

Douglas Water Conditioning in Michigan is seeking a Water Treatment Install Technician to join our team. You will install water treatment equipment, including water softeners and reverse osmosis systems, and you may deliver salt and filters to customers.

You will load parts on the service vehicle, inventory stock monthly, evaluate work orders to determine needed parts, and explain the benefits of new systems to customers.

Qualifications

• Overtime and rotating Saturdays required.
• Aptitude for mechanics and familiarity with hand tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze situations and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install water treatment equipment (softeners, RO systems, iron filters) and deliver related products.
• Inventory stock on the vehicle monthly.
• Evaluate each job work order to determine parts and materials needed and load them.
• Establish customer rapport and explain benefits of new systems.
• Coordinate with customer service and dispatch to ensure success.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
