Job summary

Ovivo USA, LLC is seeking an Estimator in Round Rock, TX to prepare detailed cost estimates for production, fabrication and assembly of Ovivo equipment. You will review estimates with sales and engineering to ensure scope and cost accuracy and identify potential cost improvements.

The role involves collaborating with product managers, engineering, buyers, and the sales team, attending kickoff meetings, and contributing to value engineering initiatives while working in Ovivo's hybrid office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, Associate degree with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years' experience in cost estimating custom-engineered/fabricated equipment.
• Experience reading fabrication and process drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication skills to resolve inquiries and collaborate with sales/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for production, fabrication, and assembly of equipment.
• Review estimates with sales and engineering to ensure scope and estimates are achievable.
• Identify cost improvements or scope gaps.
• Assist in updating sales documentation for engineering communication.
• Attend kickoff meetings and prepare final estimates with profit margins.
• Contribute to cost reduction or value engineering initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date material cost files and monitor trends.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering, and buyers to develop estimating models.
