Job summary

Ovivo is seeking a Sales Engineer for the DAF product line in Salt Lake City. You will serve as a technical and commercial authority within a cross-functional team, supporting sales, sizing, and application guidance for municipal and industrial customers.

Role involves startup support, field troubleshooting, and ongoing collaboration with Engineering and Marketing. Hybrid work arrangement with travel up to 30% supports growth across Ovivo’s product portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1+ year design and manufacture experience in mechanical/fluid systems.
• Exposure to flotation/DAF, municipal water, or industrial treatment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical).
• Able to read engineering documents and translate concepts for clients.

Responsibilities

• Support sales through specification reviews and client presentations.
• Own the customer relationship from pre-sale to commissioning.
• Provide startup support and field troubleshooting.
• Contribute to product roadmap and cross‑functional improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management on issues.
• Review contracts with the team to protect scope and margin.
• Help improve margins and minimize erosion.
• Preserve and document technical know-how for scalable knowledge.
