Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment.
• Experience with water quality testing and laboratory analysis.
• Experience performing or interpreting treatability studies or pilot-scale testing.
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret water chemistry and treatment performance data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Water Treatment Process Development: design and execute bench-scale and pilot-scale studies; evaluate treatment performance and develop data-driven recommendations; analyze water chemistry and interpret results.
• Applications Engineering and Process Design: support process design and equipment selection; translate lab/pilot results into design criteria; prepare PFDs and specs; collaborate with vendors.
• Proposal Development and Technical Support: prepare technical proposals for lab testing and pilot programs; contribute to client proposals and scope development; define testing programs.
• Technical Leadership and Collaboration: provide technical leadership on treatability programs; mentor junior staff in lab methods and data interpretation.
