Job summary

Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group in Clovis, CA seeks an Assistant Civil Engineer - Water Treatment. This EIT will support drinking water treatment projects, applying engineering principles to evaluate treatment options and meet regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with a team across groundwater and surface water projects, develop plans, and contribute to design calculations, analyses, and technical writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, chemistry related coursework preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to write technical information using appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling for concise reader-friendliness and clarity
• Solid understanding of civil design and water treatment principles and formulas
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new methods and programs
• Proficiency in use of AutoCAD and related software

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and selecting drinking water treatment methods to meet project requirements
• Collaborate with team on groundwater and surface water treatment projects in the Clovis office
• Prepare technical writings with clear grammar, punctuation and spelling for concise reports
