Job summary

Gurney Water Treatment NE is seeking an Area Manager to lead Western Massachusetts and Connecticut accounts. You’ll own field service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and relationship building with operators and owners.

You’ll also pursue new business while managing your schedule and reporting results. A science degree is a plus, but hands-on water-treatment experience matters most. Base salary plus uncapped commission, with a company vehicle or allowance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of water treatment experience.
• Ability to manage your own schedule.
• Ability to explain test results clearly to operators or owners.
• Comfortable with a tablet, laptop, and Microsoft Office.
• A science degree is a plus, but hands-on experience counts more.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field testing and service reports at existing accounts.
• Troubleshoot problems on site.
• Perform routine maintenance on feed and control systems.
• Build relationships with the people who keep these systems running.
• Pursue new business opportunities.
