Job summary

Gurney Water Treatment NE is seeking an Area Manager to lead Western Massachusetts and Connecticut accounts. You’ll own field service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and relationship building with operators and owners.

You’ll also pursue new business while managing your schedule and reporting results. A science degree is a plus, but hands-on water-treatment experience matters most. Base salary plus uncapped commission, with a company vehicle or allowance.

We're looking for an Area Manager to take over an established set of accounts in Western Massachusetts and Connecticut, with plenty of room to grow it.

The job

You'll run your territory on your own schedule. Field testing and service reports at existing accounts, troubleshooting problems on site, routine maintenance on feed and control systems, and building relationships with the people who keep these systems running. You'll also chase new business.

What you need

• 5-10 years in water treatment

Demands of the job

You will be in boiler rooms, mechanical rooms, and outdoor sites. You will be moving fifty-pound pails, sometimes up a few flights of stairs. There can be some long days and a lot of windshield time. We provide the PPE.
