Job summary

Hydromax USA is seeking a Water Technician 2 in Washington, DC to perform valve and hydrant maintenance, data collection, and field inspections. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely data reporting in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Must pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
• Physically able to perform field work including lifting up to 50 pounds and outdoor work in all weather.
• Willing to travel, including weekends and nights, as project needs.
• Proficient with mobile data collection apps and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect GPS coordinates for all assigned assets.
• Safely operate, maintain, and clean all equipment.
• Gather precise data from each inspection point.
• Maintain productivity and discipline throughout the workday.
• Achieve a driving score of A-90 or above per company standards.
• Use PPE and follow safety protocols daily.
• Paint, scrape, and clean hydrants to meet project standards.
• Perform hydrant and valve repairs as required.
• Maintain clear communication with field managers and support staff.
