Job summary

National Water Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Logan, UT. The role involves maintenance, repairs, and proactive servicing of water-dispensing cabinets on-site for customers and store partners.

The position requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, strong time management, and the ability to work independently. On-call availability and owning tools are essential, with a 1099 contractor arrangement and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent time management skills; ability to work independently.
• Own smartphone and email proficiency for reporting.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, climb stairs or ladders as needed.
• Fluent English communication.
• Provide own transportation and tools for on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and foster relationships with customers and store management through effective communication and service delivery.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to ensure a satisfying experience for clients.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as filter replacements, UV lamp installations, battery changes, and equipment upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and read readings from pressure gauges and flow meters; detect leaks with appropriate tools.
• Address repair needs including leaks, fittings, valves, tubing, electrical wires, and components.
• Be available for occasional emergency calls and respond within 24–48 hours for urgent situations.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork for payment processing.
