Job summary

Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer II for our water division in Leesburg, VA. You will support daily project coordination, manage documentation, procure construction materials, and ensure quality and safety on site.

The role drives project progress with data-driven decisions and collaboration across the team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred; relocation may be required for specific roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project engineering or construction
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus
• Specific roles may require relocation

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating
• Inspect project site(s)

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
