Job summary

The Walsh Group in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Project Manager for the water division. You will lead project teams, manage costs, schedules, and contracts, and build lasting client relationships to deliver complex water infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of construction PM experience, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and a proven ability to drive profitability while maintaining Walsh’s culture of accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction project management or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in managing construction teams and client relationships.
• Track record of delivering projects within scope and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership for multiple aspects of controls including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering and personnel management.
• Project startup, execution, and complete close-out processes.
• Develops strategy for personnel development and recruiting.
• Responsible for managing contractual issues and customer relationships.
• Accurate forecasting of costs for job completion and profitability.
• Provide leadership and development to project team and resolve issues.
• Ensure safety and quality plans are implemented and followed.
