Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer II for our Water Division near the Tampa, FL area. This role focuses on coordinating and supporting project activities, with emphasis on document control, procurement, and field coordination.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Relocation may be required for certain roles within the team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction/project engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior employment in a similar role is a plus.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assist and support project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly photos for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
• Inspect project site(s).
