Job summary

Garver's Water Infrastructure - Modeling, Analytics, and Planning Team in Houston is seeking a Water Hydraulic Modeling Intern to gain real-world experience in hydraulic modeling and planning for water and wastewater systems within a fast-paced, professional setting.

You will work alongside experienced water professionals, assist with a range of projects, receive training from staff and project managers, and tour Garver project sites as part of the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing civil or environmental engineering bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Preferred ArcGIS experience.
• Interest in hydraulics and related water resources topics.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
• Assist with a wide array of water and wastewater projects.
• Receive training from our water staff and project managers.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
• Visit Garver's Water project sites.
