Job summary

BENTELER is seeking a maintenance professional for water systems in our facility in Louisiana. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, procedures, and continuous improvement within the water systems department.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs via SAP, ensuring equipment efficiency, and collaborating with mill maintenance and electrical teams. A technical background and 2+ years of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or equivalent.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with water systems, pumps, HMI, pneumatics, hydraulics, outage reporting.
• Seamless Pipe Mill experience a huge plus.
• Ability to organize and explain complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of work procedures, PM’s and LOTO.
• Participate in plant 5S and Lean programs and continuous improvement activities in water systems.
• Preventative maintenance of water systems.
• Maintain utilities within water systems to assure equipment efficiency.
• Be an active participant of developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism.
• Follow all rules, policies, or expectations.
• Coordinate effective repairs and maintenance on equipment utilizing SAP.
• Coordinate with mill maintenance and electrical teams for major maintenance activities in water systems.
• Communicates any utility supply outages with shift maintenance and operations personnel.
