Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of GIS/GPS applications preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good organization.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication, outdoors work willingness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveying assignments related to water system infrastructure.
• Utilize GIS and GPS for mapping and data collection.
• Support data collection and analysis to improve water system efficiency.
• Participate in civil engineering activities including reviewing infrastructure components and design considerations.
• Collaborate with water department personnel on projects related to water quality, distribution, and maintenance.
• Conduct fieldwork, site inspections and system assessments.
• Prepare reports, maps, and presentations summarizing project findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
