Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience in water and wastewater operations.
• NCDOT Flagger certification and AED/CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences in all interactions with internal and external customers.
• Safely control traffic through the work zone; flagger certification required.
• Develop and set up traffic control during construction and maintenance.
• Operate dump truck, back-hoe, track hoe, and other heavy equipment.
• Repair and maintain water and sewer systems; install meters.
• Load/unload equipment and secure for transport.
• Locate water/sewer lines and valves.
• Perform related tasks as required.
