Job summary

Clearwater Solutions, LLC. is seeking an entry-level Field Technician to support water and sewer operations. You will assist with meter readings, basic repairs, and routine field tasks on-site in Ellijay, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• 1 year of experience in water distribution, maintenance or servicing preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be available to work weekends, overtime and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Review service orders to determine locations where meter readings need to be performed.
• Read water meters and enter data in route logs.
• Maintain required paperwork and logs in compliance with rules and regulations.
• Inspect meters and connections to determine defects, faults and damages.
• Repair and/or replace broken water mains and service lines.
• Communicate problems with meters or incorrect readings to the Supervisor & Project Manager.
• Operate a company vehicle to conduct meter readings for assigned route.
• Connect and disconnect utility services as directed.
• Ensure that all data in the utility log book is maintained correctly.
• Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
