Job summary

Practical Applications, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Technician I to fabricate equipment per drawings and analyze CAD feedback for water treatment systems.

You will maintain the fabrication shop, assist with maintenance manuals, and support project teams with installation and repair tasks. Qualifications

• Experience with Industrial Controls and mechanical systems (unistrut, skids, frames, etc.)
• Experience with special piping and piping materials (polypropylene, stainless steel, etc.)
• Experience with industrial fluid handling systems (pumps, mixers, flowmeters, etc.)
• Read and modify mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Ability to operate fabrication machinery (lathe, drill press, hand tools)

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of equipment per drawings
• Compile, analyze, and provide feedback on CAD drawings of water treatment systems
• Assist with preparation of equipment maintenance manuals along with supporting documents for the customer
• Maintain the fabrication shop daily and perform all other duties assigned
• Fabricate, install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair devices and systems as described
