Hazen and Sawyer in Buffalo, NY, is seeking summer Electrical Engineering interns to work on water-related projects in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. You will participate in fieldwork and assist in delivering design documents, studies, and reports under experienced guidance.

The role provides mentoring and exposure to power systems, condition assessments, drawings, and construction coordination, with potential for full-time opportunities after graduation.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in group settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state) and attend client meetings.
• Assist in preparing engineering deliverables including power system studies and reports.
• Work with experienced engineers and receive mentoring to learn and develop.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and utility companies to select equipment.
• Support multiple projects from planning through construction.
